I went to Ethiopia in 2012 to work with the WAR program. The women and children are shown incredible love and care in the program. They come from unimaginable backgrounds but because of the physical, spiritual and emotional support they are given, the women and children have hope for the future. I continue to be a part of MC because of the beautiful redemption God is doing through them.

Africa has always held a special place in my heart, especially the children there.  They constantly remind me how blessed I am to have a roof over my head and food in my stomach.  My grandfather and my brother have both been to Africa and came home with heartfelt stories.  I love how MochaClub takes something as simple as $9 a month and helps so many people!  This is why I have joined MochaClub and continue to stay as well as volunteer my time when I can.  I love the people at MochaClub, their heart, and their willingness to help those around the world.  Going to Africa is on my bucket list and I look forward to that day, but until then I will continue to show my support through Mocha Club.
