Mocha Club Members
Nick in TennesseeI originally joined Mocha Club to help create change in a world far less fortunate than mine. Through my time volunteering and interning, I learned not only about how much change Mocha Club was creating in Africa, but also how much I could learn from the Africans whose lives Mocha Club was affecting. I remember seeing the "I Need Africa" video for the first time and nearly being moved to tears from the truth of that film. Overall, the community of people involved in Mocha Club are not only intelligent, creative, passionate, and general rockstars, they also are welcoming and made me feel like part of a family working to better not only the lives of others, but also, our own lives.”
Alicia in AlabamaI joined mocha club because one less mocha brings so much more to those in Africa. I support Education because change won’t occur as long as illiteracy remains; to me supporting education is synonymous with believing in and supporting a future illuminated in hope.”
