We are so incredibly excited to announce #blogABLE – an opportunity to bring some of our favorite online voices to see our work in Africa. Mocha Club is partnering with our sister company, fashionABLE, to take a group of amazing, talented ladies to see our work in Ethiopia. From August 10-14, we’ll spend time with our partners both at Women at Risk and at the fashionABLE headquarters. Follow along on our adventure!

Humans are made mostly of water. Well, I’m made mostly of coffee. I have a latte in the morning, 3 cups of coffee while I’m at work, and unwind after a long day with an iced macchiato. But by giving up just 2 fancy coffee drinks per month, I could change somebody’s life. I could give a voice to those that can’t speak for themselves. That’s why I have been a member since 2011.

I remember the first time I heard about Mocha Club and its mission, & it was something I thought was very doable & could make a difference. Donating the cost of 2 mochas… a month, how could I not? It was affordable, especially on my budget, and I’ve always had a heart for missions / volunteering. This was a way I could contribute and MC made it possible. I’ve made it a point to continue to donate for the last 4 years because it is easy to get caught up in life and worry about only yourself, but there are others out there who have far less and who am I to be so selfish?
